Therapeutic in non-epitheliotropic lymphoma in a domestic cat from the city of Quito, case report
Abstract
Feline cutaneous lymphoma is an extranodal type neoplasm, with two forms of clinical presentation; Epitheliotropic and non-epitheliotropic lymphoma, the gold standard is histopathology for diagnosis, together with special techniques such as immunohistochemistry. The established treatment for cutaneous lymphoma varies according to the presentation of the lesions. If they are local, they are treated with surgery, with a better prognosis, or diffuse with systemic invasion, treated with chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The objective of this research was to describe the oncological therapeutic response in a feline patient with non-epitheliotropic cutaneous lymphoma. In the methodology used, a clinical and descriptive assessment of the patient's skin lesions was carried out.
